    Post Date / Update: 30th January 2023 | 4:13 AM
Short Information : Apple will slow the pace of iPad releases for the rest of 2023, with an eye towards releasing a foldable iPad by 2024, noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo wrote on Monday. “I’m positive about the foldable iPad in 2024 and expect this new model will boost shipments and improve the product mix.

Folding iPad launch next year, says Kuo, ahead of a folding iPhone. Apple could be on track to release a foldable iPad as early as next year, according to supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Details of a new iPad with a foldable display were shared by TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo on Twitter. The company may not release new iPad models for the next 12 months, while a new iPad mini model could enter mass production in 2024, according to Kuo.

Folding iPad launch next year, says Kuo, ahead of a folding iPhone

Apple previously launched the iPad mini (2021) with an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display and the company’s A15 Bionic chip in September 2021.

Kuo predicts that iPad shipments for 2023 will decline by 10 to 15 percent, adding that a foldable iPad that will debut in 2024 will widen the company’s product portfolio and give iPad shipments a fillip.

Moreover, Kuo said that the iPhone maker might not release any new iPad in the next 9-12 months because “the iPad mini refresh is more likely to begin mass production” in the first quarter of next year.

Folding iPad launch next year, says Kuo, ahead of a folding iPhone All Expectations & Details :

Apple Inc will reportedly launch the foldable iPad with a “carbon fibre kickstand” in 2024, as per the sources. The information was shared by the tech analyst named Ming-Chi Kuo on Twitter where he tweeted.

“I’m positive about the foldable iPad in 2024 and expect this new model will boost shipments and improve the product mix,” he tweeted early Monday. Kuo expects it to be joined by a revamped iPad Mini, due to enter mass production in early 2024.

Display analyst Ross Young said last year that there were no supply chain indications of work on a folding iPhone, and he wasn’t expecting one before 2025. This was later backed by Ming-Chi Kuo, who additionally suggested that the first device might be a foldable iPad, with CCS Insight also supporting this view.

Folding iPad launch next year, says Kuo, ahead of a folding iPhone

This isn’t the first time Kuo has put a date on an Apple foldable prediction after he said a foldable iPhone might release in 2023, two years ago.

But it sounds like this might be a much smaller device with a screen size in the region of 7.5 to 8 inches. Gurman has even reported that Apple has discussed releasing a foldable device with a similar screen size to the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max.

This is significantly ahead of the schedule previously suggested by Young, who said a year ago that Apple was working on some kind of “folding notebook” for 2026 or 2027. Young’s report didn’t state whether this device would be an iPad, a MacBook, or a hybrid device.

    Frequently Asked Questions – FAQ

Is Apple coming out with a folding phone?

There are quite a few Android-based foldable smartphones on the market as of 2022, but Apple has not yet introduced a foldable device.

    Is iPhone 14 foldable?

This past fall, we saw the launch of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, and based on rumors, work has already started on 2023’s iPhone 15 updates. But none of those phones can bend in half. And that’s a missing gap in Apple’s lineup since its chief rival Samsung does make foldable phones.

Is Apple making a folding iPad?

Display analyst Ross Young said in July 2022 that Apple could bring some kind of foldable notebook to market in 2026 or 2027, and it is as of yet unclear if such a device would be classified as a Mac, an ‌iPad‌, or something in between.

Which iPhone will release in 2024?

Instead, Kuo says, Apple will continue using Qualcomm 5G chips for its phones in 2024, that includes the iPhone 16 series.

    Why are apples not foldable?

According to a report in Apple Insider, the Cupertino-based tech company may be ready by 2025 to launch its first folding iPhone which it has been designing and working on for years. The technology that is required to run a smartphone as such is still being developed, which is causing the delay of iPhone Fold’s launch.

How will iPhone 14 look like?

Apple’s iPhone 14 models are identical in design to the iPhone 13 models, featuring flat edges, an aerospace-grade aluminum enclosure, and a glass back that enables wireless charging. The iPhone 14 models come in blue, purple, midnight, starlight, and (PRODUCT)RED.

iPhone 15 Pro Models – A First Look

Apple is reportedly working on three new iPhone models for 2020, all of which will feature OLED displays and 5G connectivity. The most premium of these models, the iPhone 15 Pro, is said to feature a design with slim and curved bezels.

This would represent a significant change from the current iPhone design, which features thicker bezels at the top and bottom of the device. The report, from reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, also claims that the iPhone 15 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display, up from the 5.8-inch display on the current iPhone 11 Pro.

The other two iPhone models for 2020 are said to be an update to the iPhone 11 and a new low-cost iPhone, both of which will feature LCD displays. The iPhone 11 is expected to get a slightly larger display, while the low-cost iPhone will feature a 5.4-inch display.

All three of the new iPhone models are expected to feature 5G connectivity, although it is not clear if all models will support the faster mmWave standard or just the slower Sub-6GHz standard.

The report from Kuo comes just a day after another analyst, Ross Young, claimed that Apple is planning to launch four new iPhone models in 2020, including a 5.4-inch iPhone, a 6.1-inch iPhone, a 6.7-inch iPhone, and a 6.1-inch iPhone Pro.

Interestingly, Kuo’s report does not mention a 4.7-inch iPhone model, which has been rumored in the past. It’s possible that Apple has scrapped plans for this model, or it could simply be that Kuo is not aware of it.

Kuo’s report also provides some new details on the rumored Apple AR glasses, which are said to be launching in 2021. The glasses will reportedly feature 8K resolution per eye and use LiDAR for tracking.

So, there you have it, the latest iPhone rumors. Take them with a grain of salt for now, but it’s looking like Apple is planning some big changes for its 2020 iPhone lineup.

The New iPhone 15 Pro – What’s Changed?

The new iPhone 15 Pro models are said to have slim and curved bezels. This would be a change from the current models which have thicker bezels. The new models are also said to have an OLED display.

This would be a change from the current models which have an LCD display. The OLED display would allow for a sharper and more vibrant display. The new models are also said to have a faster A12 processor. The new models are said to be released in September of 2018.

    iPhone 15 Pro Specifications – What’s New?

The new iPhone 15 Pro models are said to have slim and curved bezels. This would give the phones a more premium look and feel. The bezels on the current iPhone models are quite thick and boxy. This redesign would make the iPhone 15 Pro models look more like the Samsung Galaxy S8 and other high-end Android smartphones.

The new iPhone 15 Pro models are also said to have an OLED display. This would be a major upgrade from the LCD display used on the current iPhone models. OLED displays offer better contrast and color reproduction than LCD displays. They also use less power, which would help improve battery life.

The iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to be powered by Apple’s A11 processor. This is the same processor used in the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. The A11 processor is a very powerful chip that offers significant performance improvements over the previous A10 processor.

The iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to be released in the fall of 2018.

iPhone 15 Pro Pricing – How Much Will It Cost?

    • There have been a lot of rumors swirling around about the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro models. One of the most talked about features is the new design with slim and curved bezels. While we don’t know for sure what the new phone will look like, we can speculate about the pricing.
    • If the iPhone 15 Pro models do indeed have slim and curved bezels, it is likely that they will be more expensive than the current models. The reason for this is that the new design will require more expensive materials and manufacturing processes.
    • So, how much will the iPhone 15 Pro cost? We don’t know for sure, but it is likely to be at least $100 more than the current models. This means that the starting price for the iPhone 15 Pro could be around $1,000.

Of course, we won’t know for sure until Apple officially announces the new phone. Until then, we can only speculate about the price.

iPhone 15 Pro Release Date – When Can You Get It?

One of the most highly anticipated smartphone releases of the year is the new iPhone 15 Pro. According to various reports, the new Pro model will feature a host of new and improved features, including slim and curved bezels.

While no official release date has been announced, we’ve rounded up all the latest rumors and reports to give you an idea of when you can expect the new iPhone 15 Pro to hit store shelves.

The first rumor of the new iPhone 15 Pro came from well-respected Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo back in April 2020. He claimed that the new Pro model would feature a design similar to the iPhone 4, with slim bezels and a curved glass back. He also said that the new phone would be released in late 2020 or early 2021.

Since then, there have been a number of other reports and rumors about the new iPhone 15 Pro. In July 2020, Bloomberg claimed that the new Pro model would feature an OLED display, 5G connectivity, and an A15 processor. They also said that the phone would be released in late 2020.

More recently, a report from Japanese website Mac Otakara claimed that the new iPhone 15 Pro would feature a smaller notch, a flat OLED display, and a metal frame. They also said that the phone would be released in late 2020 or early 2021.

So, when can you expect the new iPhone 15 Pro to be released? Based on all the rumors and reports, it seems likely that the phone will be released sometime in late 2020 or early 2021. Of course, nothing is official until Apple makes an announcement, so be sure to stay tuned for more updates.

Should You Upgrade to the iPhone 15 Pro?

We’ve all been there. It’s that time of year again when a new iPhone is released and we’re left wondering, “should I upgrade?” The iPhone 15 Pro is no exception. Here are 6 factors to consider when making your decision:

    • 4. Camera: The iPhone 15 Pro features a 12MP dual-lens camera. If you’re looking for an even better camera, you may want to consider the iPhone 15 Plus, which features a 12MP triple-lens camera.
    • 5. Battery life: The iPhone 15 Pro features a 2,691 mAh battery. If you’re looking for a phone with better battery life, you may want to consider the iPhone 15 Plus, which features a 3,174 mAh battery.

Under-display Face ID again rumored for iPhone 16 Pro models

Name of Post: KVS Various Post Apply Online
    Post Date / Update: 11 Jan| 10:23 AM
    Short Information :

Apple introduced a new pill-shaped cutout on the iPhone 14 Pro models, getting rid of the notch at the top which has been a familiar sight for the past several generations. The Cupertino company calls it Dynamic Island and rumors suggest it will expand to all four iPhone 15 models this year.

Apple could finally bring under-display Face ID to the iPhone 16 Pro. According to a report from the Korean outlet The Elec (via MacRumors), the technology used for Face ID will live directly under the screen, blending in with the rest of the display once it’s turned on and revealing only the cutout for the front-facing camera.

While rumors about the under-display tech first emerged last year, this never ended up panning out on the iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 15 isn’t expected to come with it, either. The Elec’s reporting tracks with predictions from supply chain analyst Ross Young, who tweeted last year that he expects the iPhone 16 Pro to come with under-display Face ID.

The Elec report acknowledges the earlier claims that an “underpanel” Face ID could be used in the iPhone 15 range, but says “it seems difficult at the moment.”

Instead, the publication claims that the iPhone 16 Pro will gain the feature and leave only the camera visible on the front of the display. It will “then sequentially adopt an underpanel camera (UPC),” too.

    Background

It seems hard to imagine now, but Touch ID was a big deal when it was first introduced in the iPhone 5S. Apple wasn’t the first to include a fingerprint sensor, but it was far more sophisticated than most, and integrated neatly into the Home button.

Time moved on, however, and the large chin space needed for the Home button became a liability. With the iPhone X, Apple moved instead to Face ID, enabling a whole new design far closer to the long-term vision of the iPhone as “a single slab of glass.”

Under-display Face ID again rumored for iPhone 16 Pro models

But Face ID brought its own problems. Apple initially embedded the necessary tech into the infamous “notch.” While many of us found this quickly faded from view in use, and it even became something of an Apple design emblem, others disliked the quirky cutout.

With the iPhone 14 lineup, the notch was relegated to the base models, with the Pro models getting a new design based on “hole-punch and pill” cutouts. Apple disguised these separate cutouts with a clever piece of UI – the Dynamic Island – which not only made them seem like a single slot, but where the slot took on a life of its own.

While many of us positively like the UI, not everyone has been immediately sold on it. Either way, it’s clear that Apple is currently making a virtue out of a necessity, and that this isn’t the end of the in-display tech journey.

As per the reports, Apple will introduce the under-display Face ID sensors with the iPhone 16 Pro models in 2024. However, the non-Pro models will feature the same pill+hole shaped cutouts for the Dynamic Island as the iPhone 14 Pro. The company will drop the design the following year and offer the new under-display Face ID sensors and a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera on all 2025 iPhones.

The report adds that the new under-display Face ID sensors on the iPhone 16 Pro will only be visible when used. The implementation will likely work like the under-display camera offerings we’ve seen on a few Android smartphones of late, which reveals the camera only when it’s in use.

Given that the phones will still have a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera, they won’t suffer from the same image-quality issues we’ve seen on phones like the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra and the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4.

    Under-display Face ID

The next step in iPhone biometrics would be to embed them beneath the screen, losing the need for either a notch or a pill-shaped slot.

Apple has patents for both under-display Touch ID and under-display Face ID, and at this stage it could still go in either direction. Each form of biometrics has its fans, and some even hope that Apple will incorporate both – though this would be extremely unlikely, given the cost.

Under-display Face ID again rumored for iPhone 16 Pro models

The publication says the front-facing camera hole will remain on the iPhone 16 Pro, but the display area and immersive experience will improve overall. In addition, it confirms that the display cutouts for this year’s iPhone 15 Pro will be the same as the iPhone 14 Pro as the under-display Face ID is not ready yet.

Further, the report adds Apple will adopt an under-panel camera (UPC) sequentially after applying under-panel Face ID to the front of the iPhone. UPC will still have a front camera module mounted under the display but when not in use, the camera lens hole will not be visible. The application principle of under-panel face ID and UPC will apparently be the same.

What is under display Face ID?

According to a report from the Korean outlet The Elec (via MacRumors), the technology used for Face ID will live directly under the screen, blending in with the rest of the display once it’s turned on and revealing only the cutout for the front-facing camera.

You can set your phone to use face recognition as phone lock code or to authorise iTunes and App Store purchases. Press Settings. Press Face ID & Passcode. Press Set Up Face ID.

Why does my iPhone 12 Pro Max keep saying Face ID not available?

By default, Face ID doesn’t work if anything is covering your mouth and nose. If you’re wearing a face mask and have already set up Face ID with a mask,* make sure that your eyes aren’t blocked. You might need to hold your iPhone higher if you’re wearing a face mask.

Will iPhone 15 have Face ID?

According to recent reports, Apple is all set to introduce under-display Face ID on the iPhone 15 Pro in 2023. And, it does not end there, reportedly the technology will be developed by Samsung.
